Terms of Service for Non-Commercial Work

Acceptable Subjects
I am willing to draw most subjects, including animals/creatures, humans, and anthropomorphic beings. However, I will not accept NSFW commission requests or those that want another artist’s style copied and/or heavily referenced. I have the right to decline a commission for any reason.
Order and Commission Process

When you submit your order, please include the following information:
- Type of commission (i.e. headshot, two characters, sketch, full color/shading, etc)
- Any reference(s), especially visual, and a note on particularly important traits
- Pose, expression, color, and background preferences
- Unique details to your commission, such as if it’s a surprise/gift for someone
- E-mail address
Once payment has been received – see below for specifics, I will contact you via e-mail within 2 days to get details sorted out. This is a great time to note anything that you find really key to your character that you wouldn’t want missed. Your commission turn around time partially depends on the complexity and how quickly you are able to respond to the check ins. I can give you a timeframe after we get the initial details figured out. You are permitted 2-3 revisions per stage and only dealing with that stage. For example, if you have already approved the pose during the sketch phase, it cannot be changed later after inking and/or coloring.
Your final commission will be sent to you as a full-sized PNG. If you would prefer another format, please let me know. You may mainly use your commission however, but please be sure to credit me. It may also not be used for commercial purposes. I ask that you do not remove the signature; if you need it moved for some reason, I will be happy to do so for you. I have the right to use any works from this process as needed in my own promotional materials.
Communication
You are welcome to use either of the above communication methods, but my e-mail is preferred. Please respond as soon as you are able in regards to questions and/or check-ins in order to permit me to progress with your commission. (I’m as excited to see it finished as you are! 😍) If you will be out of contact for awhile for whatever reason, please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you!
Payment
Full payment is to be received prior to work beginning on your commission. Payment can go through Ko-fi (https://ko-fi.com/gswan) or directly through Paypal. If you prefer the second route, I will send you an invoice; make sure to include your Paypal e-mail address.
Refunds/Cancellations
If no work has been completed on your commission yet, you are able to get a full refund, but I cannot do so after I have already started. Instead, I can do a partial refund based on what has already been completed. If there is some reason why I cannot complete your commission, you will be refunded within 5 days via Paypal.
